In 2020 we survived networking changes as we successfully moved everything online, in July 2021 we started a years trial for both online and physical networking.
Which has helped to keep people who prefer online. We also now tour different venues now too.

2019 makes our 5th year of London Bridge Ladies Who Latte. Each and every month we have had some amazing women coming to network. It’s truly special as each and every single month feels like it’s better than the last and is such a pleasure to host. This month yet again had a wonderful group of ladies, some are not pictured as we took this picture once the event ended. All the ladies where so engrossed networking we forgot to take a main picture. We even had a young lady who came from the USA, straight off the plane two hours before and came to network with us. Our venue Brigade has had a complete refurbishment and is renamed Beyond Brigade to follow up with all the things they now do beyond the initial social enterprise. Our group has love from International business woman Amber Aziza who ensured she was in London at the right time for our event. She has traveled 9 country’s in the last few weeks and made sure she came by as we love her so, she is such a positive energy to add to the group.
We look forward to 2019 and all the ladies who come and network this year. April #LBLWLOur next ladies networking is 👆🏽.
Last month we had yet again another positive networking circle of ladies that showed up and proved #yournetworkisyournetworth 💯. Thank you all. #positivity #supporting #sharing and genuine great #businessadvice. #londonbridgeladieswholatte this October at Brigade Bar always brings #positive women. This month we had 3 #marketing experts, virtual PA, online affiliate junkie and two media producers who are happier behind the camera #greattalks #greatquestions #greatideas #ladies #business #networking #ladieswholatte Its important to enjoy your networking experience as it aids in making good connections with people. This event was yet another enjoyable experience and I look forward to learning how the women have connected in the future. Last months 2 year anniversary had me questioning what changes were needed and from the group feedback it has been, basically its not broke so it don't need fixing!?! But for me, Im gonna make a few changes for what I do after and see how it helps. Pic of Septembers 2 year anniversary Picture of September's 2 year anniversary
Its now officially been 2 years since London Bridge Ladies Who Latte started, and it has been an interesting 2 years, with a wonderfully positive energy of women coming to network each month. Each months events feel better than the last, and I truly get shocked with how nice the environment is. Im thinking of ways to try and improve it for the next coming years events, which will be my question of the month this September, but sometimes if its not broke, it don't need fixing! *update* seems like the blog automated dates need fixing* its the 26/09/2016 not 11/01/2017!?! I will see what suggestions come up tomorrow and then decide. Below are some of the pictures of the last years events: Brigade Bar gives us two main beautiful spaces to use and its always a surprise as to which room we will be in each month. This room is nicked named the "Wine Room" which is the larger space of the two. The cold buffet, which is can also be part of the hot buffet menu for under £10 together. Mixed veg omelette from the hot seasonal menu. This is #LBLWL most used space at Brigade. It has always been such a pleasure networking here.
This months #LBLWL was my best event to date - not because it was packed and there was lots of people but the opposite as there were only 6 of us in total but it was my best to date because it was intimate, the women all got the chance shared so much which I believe has bonded that group forever. We shared what was the motivation for starting up. When we shared, it wasnt the rehearsed elevator pitch that entrepreneurs do, but the real heart wrenching reasons that some didn't realise till this event of why they had actually started up in business. I shed tears at some, smiled from the heart of others and this event left all with such a positive energy that has rippled out and kept us all connected. My childhood friend Natalie came and even though with have kept in touch and supported each others projects over the years we had not actually known what we had shared with the other ladies this day, the full reason of what drove us to start up. The energy is the thing that touch us, it was such a positive, sharing, caring moment, as always we had fun but this months groups event has fulled a fire in me to ensure all future groups go so positively xx Thank you Ladies ❤️ I will be sharing more about these ladies in future blogs throughout the month This month was the first event for the new year. Goals and resolutions were high in the air. Since late 2014 I have been having a detox and changed back to just eating chicken and fish. As I have never really been a red meat lover it hasnt been a hard process. It has been something I have been thinking about for the majority of 2014 and set my time of October 2014 to start trialling, with a full change by January 2015. I have been using a company called gojuicedetox.com, the owner Erran Talyor has been a piller of support whilst using his products. Life however, will throw obstacles in your way and can sometimes throw you off achieving your goals. The thing is I've found is to not let the obstacles stop my goal focus. "Dont let your obstacles, stress, dram ect stop you achieving your goal". To remain focused is key, "obstacles may delay your goal deadline, but dont let them stop you, readjust your goal dates and start again". I like to set targets way in advance, I plan for 5 -10 years and for the first time since I was 14, last year I wrote another 30 year plan of goals. As I'm the type of person who's mind has to get used to the idea before a change will occur. I now give myself enought time in advance so I can then stick to a change of eating, a change of excersice or a change of pratice when doing business ect. For instance, I knew from January 2014 that I wanted to run a Ladies Who Latte group. I had given myself a target of September and every month built up the steps to achieve it. I enjoy running this group and like to see the exchanges and new buisness connections happening. My favorite quote this month is "your network is your networth - Robery Kiyosacy. Myself and my business partner have set some targets for 2015, one for networking more and so far we have been on target - we have enjoyed the out of work feel, the cocktails helped 😉 and the fact that we actually attended one that we had tried to attend for months was goal achieved. Good luck to your Journey for 2015 ❤️ Last Months #LBLWL group was give a nice surprise room in the Brigade Bar, again the group has been give a surprise space second time in a row. The Brigade Bar had a special Buy 1 get 1 free on the breakfast's this October so gave our first event in this venue an extra gift. Our topic of the day was : Introducing yourself "elevator pitches"... We discussed the idea that having someone else write up your elevator pitch as its seems that most people are not that good at selling themselves, so have someone else say what they think of you and what you do may help with words for your elevator pitch. My business collegue Wisome of MployME celebrated her birthday with us too. I look forward to the next group this November. Our next event is on the 27th January 2015, 10am start. We are back at our usual venue at Brigade Bar, The Old Fire Station, 139 Tooley Street, London Bridge, SE1 2HZ. Im excited to network with wonderful women in a beautiful setting. I wonder what surprises they have instore for us this month? You never really know what may come from networking groups, so far its been a wondeful positive environment. I'm looking forward to our first event of 2015. Collaberating Christmas This December we joined with Chantell Graham who runs the Chelsea #LWL group. It was a good group of professional women out again. The Peter Jones Brasserie gives an elegant setting. The women came armed with their business cards and products ready to network. I invited Marcia Anderson of Ibwaves.com. Marcia brought her new product pictured below. Christmas presents were bought thanks to Marcia game. Marcia Anderson gave us great feedback too. January 2015 sees us back in the brilliant Brigade Bar. Once again I'm looking forward to networking with some postive proffesional women. After this months event I'm promptly heading of to support the www.Ultra.academy launch. Please go to the site to register if you wish to attend too. 50% off breakfast and free tea and coffees.... Yet again the Brigade Bar brings more suprises, not only was there a mini tea van outside giving us all free tea and coffees, we were delighted with yet another 3rd suprise room in a row, a hidden snug with the most beautiful decore, and to top it all off we were given 50% off all our breakfasts. The ladies that came, networked and enjoyed the environment that is set. I can honestly say that a wonderful group of women come to network each month. I have received some really postive feedback. ![]() Hi Marcia It was great to meet you too. We loved your event. Such a driven and inspiring bunch of women. We look forward to catching up soon. In the meantime, take care. I have been able to make a cover picture from the brilliant group that came this month. This month brought about a few bussiness that Im looking into using. 1. Oval Kia Business Manager Denise, came to network - following up, I got to view the Oval spaces. It is some where local to me and I never knew what beautiful, varied and numberous spaces they had to hire. 2. Facial product - will look into more January 2015. 3. Good Egg - great feedback and will hopefully use there services come 2015 This Christmas is a collobration with Chelsea so looking forward to the double group event. 😃 The Launch of our Group - #LBLWL London Bridge Ladies Who Latte To my surprise we were given the 'snug' at the Hilton instead of the bar area as booked. The ladies and I were greeted with the tan leather seated room, elegant lighting, and personal waitress. It was an amazing room and it made the launch feel extra special. My business partner and LWL deputy Serena also made the launch an special occasion by bringing a blue ribbon (blue is our favorite colour) that she cut and launched the group in style. The ladies that came brought a beautiful positive energy, the question of the day was 'social media' and the tips shared were useful to all. A few tips shared were: * Using hootsuite to schedule in tweets and posts * Using instagram is best for a visual focused business * Schedule tweets/post especially when an event is coming up The Chelsea LWL Leader Chantell Graham also came and gave her support to my group which was a lovely touch, and was the first lady to give an 'elevator pitch' which not all the ladies had done before so it was great see how best it can be done. It was also my 39th birthday which made it a special day for me personally and I'm so glad that I got to enjoy my morning in a beautiful place with such amazing ladies. The Hilton was initially only going to be used for the launch event to welcome to group to London Bridge. We were give a great review and was offered the chance to come back for the next 3 months trial, which I was thrilled about but sadly as there was a £15.00 minimum per head rule, and the LWL brand will not allow that rule to be passed on to the ladies. So as planned we will be hosting our next event at the elegant Brigade Bar & Bistro, The Fire Station, 139 Tooley Street, London SE1 2HZ on October 28th 2014 10am- 12pm. Also this October they have a special 2for1 breakfast deal - so more reason to bring a friend along. Looking forward to it even more now :) February #LBLWL is our second event of the year and its the month of LOVE. Sharing love is something that one should be doing continiously and valentines can just be the day to bring it out even more. This month my business partner Serena (the one with the S on her chest, like superwoman 😃) took the group on a wonderful networking session. The lovely lady in the middle is our Super Shernette who runs her own Empire; Hoorayentertainment.com Hoorayhenryevents.com Hoorayhenriettaevents.com HoorayPartyShop on 73 Darthmouth Road, Forest Hill. Annual event ShadesofBritian.com And is THE AMAZING SINGER "Shay" Shernette Im so proud to say is our Team Event Director - the person we run to for all events. The session went down great with the group. Before I meet Serena and Shernette, I had been working as a soloprenuer since 2004. I had worked with many business colleagues on set projects but Serena is my first business partner for all the projects. My usual pattern was one partner on one project ONLY! But with Serena from the beginning it was different as we started with 3 projects straight away. Serena had brought Shernette as an event manger for 1 of the projects and we all have not looked back since. Now 3 years later not only do I have a business partner and joint director with Smart World with Serena, but a best friend in business and my personal life. And thankfully she brought the best event empire business owner Shernette who is the magical gel to the best friends and business team xxx "Having business partners for me now has been like choosing my own family" I see many solopreneurs strugge with all the hats they wear to run a business in this day and age. Marketing - Admin - production - customer service - website building - design - stock controler and the list goes on! Building a team is something a business owner will have to deal with. It took me a long time but I have been blessed to find a really great business partner that has become one of my best friends. I wish all solopreneurs the best when bringing in a business partner it can be one of best things you can do😉. |
